Notes

• The following songs have typos: "You Really Got Me" is noted as "You Realy Got Me"; "Dance The Night Away" is spelled as "Oance The Night Away"; and "Year To The Day" is written as "Years To The Day".
• The tray card incorrectly lists "Romeo Delight" in the set after "Unchained" but "Romeo Delight" wasn't played on that date.
• The intro to "Mean Street" is at the end of track 3, and after an especially long pause one of the band members does something that amuses the crowd, which is evidenced by their laughter. Gary chooses this moment to tell the audience "Kon-Ban-Wa Tokyo!" ("Good Evening" in Japanese).
• Edward messes up the beginning of "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love" and has to start over.
• "Panama" also includes "You Really Got Me" in the middle.
• This is an excellent audience recording. It is also the only show on the entire "3" tour to feature "You Really Got Me", which is performed at an astounding level, as the show opener. The guitars & vocals are clear but there seems to be slight static distortion in the recording, particularly with Ed and Gary's mike's. This may be due to the fact that the person that recorded the show may have been sitting very close to the monitors. At 7:22 some one in the audience, sounds like an American, yells "Take that shit off!" amid the shouts of "Eddie! Eddie!".
• After Gary introduces "Fire In The Hole", and the intro starts, another audience member (sounds like the same previous person) yells out "Fuck that shit!" Obviously not a fan of the new Van Halen.
• Mikey gives the audience a rowsing shout of "BANZAI!" after "Somebody Get Me A Doctor". After things have calmed down a bit, Gary remarks how they'll be making a new Van Halen record in a couple of months so that they can "get back to Japan".
• Prior to "Josephina", Gary takes the time to thank "Mr. Udo" for all he's done for the band. Mr. Udo is the major concert promoter in the Tokyo area and responsible for booking all U.S. bands for tour dates in and around the Tokyo area. He's Japan's answer to Bill Graham. Gary also notes how they had a "little food and some wine last night", wherein Ed chooses this time to say "Sake!" over Gary's "wine". You can almost hear Ed smiling when he says this.
• During the final song, "Jump", Mike and Ed shout something inaudible to each other to each other. The only thing you can hear Ed say is "No, that was yesterday!".
• Disc 1 fades out as "Humans Being" begins, but Disc 2 starts out perfectly.
• Other than the static and slight distortion, the only discrepancy on this disc is that during the "Jump" intro, the sound seems to shift and fade just a bit, not too much, from the left to the right.
• It is very evident that the band is having a ball playing and putting their hearts and souls into every song. This set is a must-have for any diehard Van Halen fanatic. The graphics aren't anything to get overly excited about. The front cover has 4 great pictures of the band, though they look a bit blotchy. The back cover has a fantastic live stage shot photo of the band, obviously taken during the "3" tour. The discs themselves are plain, with the only graphic design on them both being a picture of a hog and the words "Trademark of Quality" printed near it. This design is screened onto the discs, making them look a little more "real" than normal CD-R's. Record label is stated as "Cheap Thrills", using the same design originated on the Janis Joplin and Big Brother Brother and The Holding Company's album of the same name. Adding this to any Van Halen bootleg collection is a requirement.
