Notes

• Audience recording. Same recording as previously issued as "Shinjuku 78 the Other Show". It even duplicates the same typo for "You Really Got Meat"!
• Digitally remastered. The sound is better than "Shinjuku 78 the Other Show". Like the other release, "Somebody Get Me A Doctor" is not included. It should be between "Ice Cream Man" and "Eruption".
• The cover shows the band having fun with a ceramic raccoon dog (tanuki) at the entrance of Japanese tavern in Kyoto. Michael appears to be feeding something to it. The Van Halen 'ribbon' logo covers some of the body, and the show title is at the bottom. A circle of info is in the upper right corner.
• The inside back artwork is an ad for the four Van Halen titles that Shakuntala has released so far, including this one.
• The rear artwork contains a lot of stuff. The set list, a list of the 1978 Japan tour dates, two ads for the show, the band posing on the decorated truck roof used for the movie 'Truck Yarou' at the Toei movie studio in Tokyo (with an inset shot from the same studio), and a shot of the band at the same tavern as on the cover. The text at the bottom says 'Digitally Remastered" and that the recording copyright is owned by Peter Pan under license to Wendy Records Ltd.
• The disc background is the body of the red/white/black guitar.
• The OBI strip contains a lot of Japanese text on the front pertaining to this release along with an image of the front of the 1978 Japan Tour Book. On the back are promotions for other Shakuntala releases and a list of the 1978 Japan tour dates.
• Released in October 2020.
