Notes

• This 2 CD-R set is an outstanding audience recording, and was done with either a DAT or MD recorder due to the noticeable lack of tape hiss. There is crowd noise, but it doesn't impede or overshadow the sound from the band. The individual that recorded this was seated in just the right area because you can hear every word Gary says to the audience without any distortion.
• Record label reads as "1998 Sylph Records". Also noted was the following: "Super Hi-Quality Digital Sound Media. Master Quality CD-R from High Sampling and 20-Bit Super Mapping Recorded Direct Laser Cutting System".
• The fade-in at the start of Disc 1 has an audible Aerosmith track from the venue's P.A. system, but quickly fades out before the band kicks in with their intro.
• All is pretty quiet, with no between song banter, until the end of "When It's Love" when Gary says "Arigato (Thank You) Osaka!"
• After "Fire In The Hole", Gary yells "Alex! Give me a beat!" A person that sounds like Al can be heard yelling back "I'll give you a beat!" rather sarcastically. Gary's then forced to add, embarrassingly, "Don't give me a beat!", and you can make out some of the audience members laughing. Gary explains that "Oh yeah...got lost somewhere in the translation. Someone had my set list in Japanese, so I couldn't read what next song that was." He tells J.J. to "give them something to chew on", and they start "WCTBL".
• After "WCTBL" ends, Gary says "Now give me a beat Alex", and they launch into "Jamie's Cryin'". Mike and Gary trade off on vocals after the first chorus.
• Prior to beginning "SGMAD", Mike asks the audience "Osaka! Let's see if we fuckin' rock!", and they do.
• "Ganke Desu Ka?" opens Disc 2, and "Year To The Day". Pronounced "gang-kee deska" it's translated as "How Are You?"
• Gary does an Elvis impersonation after "Year To The Day". He does the famous Elvis remark "Thank you very much".
• After "Right Now", Gary prematurely says "Thank you! Good Night!", then the band immediately launches into "Ain't Talin' 'Bout Love". Upon completion of that song, he gets it right and says the actual "good night" before exiting the stage prior to the encore of "Dirty Water Dog".
• "Panama" starts off as the usual "Everybody Wants Some" teaser, complete with jungle calls and noises from both Gary and Ed's guitar. For some unknown reason, someone yells out "FUCK!!!" from the stage. Everything is smooth from that point on.
• Overall summary is nothing short of outstanding, as previously stated. An amateur could easily mistake this for a soundboard recording, it's that good. The set comes in a thick 2 CD jewel box, rather than the slimline one. The graphics on the back of the case are great, with a picture of Ed and his Tobacco Sunburst Wolfie and Gary in the background. The "VH" swirl logo is located near the upper left hand corner near Ed's head, and "Wolfgang Attack" in the upper right hand corner with "JAPAN TOUR 10.23.1990 OSAKA Castle Hall" near the bottom. No graphics, pictures, or booklets are located inside the jewel box. Both discs have a green label with the same pic of Ed that's on the back, but with "1" and "2" printed on his tank top. This is, presumably, to let you know which disc is "1" and "2".
• The artwork is numbered SP-23108, but the discs are numbered SP-26108.
